I first heard of Remember Nhu when a representative from the organization came to speak at my church.  At that time, I felt called to sponsor a child with Remember Nhu in Thailand.   As a teacher, I felt the call the past few years to find a meaningful way to spend my summer.  After another conversation with Remember Nhu leadership, things began to move quickly and plans fell into place for me to spend the following summer in Thailand as an intern.  I then returned to serve full time in 2018 teaching English.  After several months, however, I transitioned back to the U.S. due to health concerns.  Now my role with Remember Nhu focuses on sponsor-child communication: developing a system of exchanging letters and photos between child sponsors and all Remember Nhu children.
