In January of 2021, I began to feel a discontentment in my life. As I leaned into God to see if it was just a season or if He was asking me to move, I found myself facing a question: is it time for me to go overseas? In high school, the Lord placed it on my heart for me to become a missionary, but for years I didn’t look deeper into what that meant because I was afraid. But years later here I was, faced with the same calling. This time, I didn’t let my fears keep me from following God. I let Luke 18:29-30 be a constant reminder to me that while I yearn to make daily memories with my family, some of us are called to leave our homes. As I continued to pursue the calling to work overseas, I was introduced to Remember Nhu, an organization that saves children from awful experiences in order to help them grow into God-fearing men and women.

In July of this year, 2022, I have the opportunity to go on a Vision Trip to Cambodia to see if this truly is the place where God is calling me to work for Him. Today, I am asking for your prayers. Please pray that God continues to confirm where He is calling me to, that I am prepared and continue to grow as I start to head out overseas, and that God will provide for all of my needs. Thank you for joining me on my journey.
